You need to get to the doctor.  You will also feel rebound pain during this too but that usually gets better.  Many of us found that once we were completely off the pain meds or pain level got better.

Hey~  Do you have the $75.00 to pay for an appt.?  In the long run, this is a lot cheaper than going to the ER.  Maybe you could call back and make an appt.  You really should be evaluated in person, not just over the phone.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to tough it out. Don't worry,it gets better.  :)
Do all the things Tram suggested.  Get some Nyquil without the decongestant;it helps a lot!  Start getting in a hot tub. Be sure to eat, especially protein, and really push some fluids. Fluids will really help flush your system of toxins. Try peptobismol for GI symptoms.

Keep posting~ Lots of support here!

I agree with jamajessie.  Go to the ER and don't worry about the bill.  They can bill you and if you can't afford it, you can apply for free care or reduced care.  Even if you don't get that, you can pay off $10 a month.  The important thing is to get yourself some help.

Another case of a doctor abandoning a patient in withdrawal from a medication the doc put them on.  I find this absolutely disgraceful.  What happened to their oath, "Do no harm?"

Good luck to you and to everyone else in this position.  Please go to the ER.  They have to help you.

goto the ER ... Dont worry about the bill or anything now. Just go to get help. Just tell them the truth . tell them your dr wont see you and that can't take feeling like this one more minute ... they will give you something to help you... If your blood pressure is up they have to help you... So please just go to an ER... I been where you are and I know how you feel now. I dont know how your even able to type. When was going through it all I did was sit on my bathroom floor and rock. I hate that feeling.

Go on to the ER.

i call my doctor, no longer being able to contain my emotions, so i am blubbering over the phone.  the voice on the other end says "what do you want me to do about it?'  oh and they wont see me if i dont pay the 75 dollars that i have been paying in the past for them to make me worse, they wont see me, bastards!  i dont understand how i can practically be begging for someone to just tell me what to do and they do not care at all!  i dont even know what to do now.  this is insane, i thought i would call and at least get someone to council me a bit but instead i get treated like i dont matter.
