I may not be the best guy to talk with about pills because they were not my drug of choice, but i do know xanax w/d's are horrible and if taking a lot should not be c/t. Please be careful with suboxone, do your research, you will get a lot of feedback from others here on sub. Stick around and come up with a plan to stay clean. Since he will understand I think it's best you tell him. You are lucky to get support and have him helping you. best of luck:)
Thanks for your support! I know the mental part is huge! When I am out of pills it feels like my brain is frying and that is all I can think about. Im gonna do some more research on the suboxone. thanks again. Its good to know that there is a light at the end if the tunnel.
I vwas taking Xanax every night. The xanax w/d lasted for a few days and then thats when the pain chills deppression... you know... kicked in. I know for sure it was the hydro w/d bcuz when I run out now I have the same w/d for a day or so until I can get my script filled. My husband will understand it's just gonna be hard for me to tell him. giving him the pills for me to wean off is an option but it seems as though it may be easier to take suboxone for a week or so and be completly clean. I have been taking these pills for about 5 yrs and just want to be done with it!!! I just don't know what to do.
Hi. Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your decision to reach out for help. My DOC was hydros and I had to quit ct because I could not taper without taking all of the pills I had. Do you think your husband would help you taper? How long have you been using again...and how long were you clean? I do not know about Suboxone personaly but many on here will say to research it before you decide to take it....esp. for lorcet ect. as it is harder to detox from. The mental part of withdrawl is the hard part and you will still go through that with Sub. There is alot of info on it under health pages. You cannot beat yourself up about relapsing...it already happened and you need to focus on what you are going to do now. You need to stay strong. You can do this. Don't give up. Learn from your relapse and keep trying. You will get alot of support here. Let me know if I can help in anyway. God bless, Corey
After 7 days of w/d's from hydro, you were so close to turning the corner. Are you sure this wasn't due to the xanax w/d's? Were you only taking the xanax times a month or were you taking them everyday at one point? I think telling your husband will make sure you get and stay clean this time, will he understand? Is it possible for you to taper down and ask him to hold them? Just trying to get info. You can do this.
