Ever hear of an Alpha Stim unit?  I'm not advertizing for them and have no stock in their company, but I wish I did.

This product is amazing and I would pay ten times the price they want for it if I had to.  You can rent to own one before buying it to make sure your 100% satisfied.

Here is the big ripper - You have to obtain a prescription for one...   Kind of strange when the doctor is asked to write a prescription for something they have no knowledge of...

There are three models.  The best one is expensive, but in my opinion well worth it.  The company states that work on 9 out of 10 people.  My dad who is 83 is the only person who couldn't feel any help out of about 50 people who claim it helps them.  I'm not a doctor so I can only tell you about my experiences with it.

The cost for them is as follows:

Alpha-Stim SCS for anxiety, stress, insomnia = 595.00
Alpha Stim PPM for pain =  595.00
Alpha Stim 100 for all the above 995.00

These are very expensive, however one can rent to own them for about the same price as buying one straight out.

How does it work?  Another good question.  You will get the best answer from teir web site.  In general I will try and explain it using my words.  These are all made with a super low electical amount that is thousands times less in amount than the old "TENS" units that are still being used.  The way I understand it the TENS units are not good for people or animals due to the extream amount of electicity that is a lot more than needed and can cause medical problems.

I have wittnessed people who think these devices might be unsafe.  They are FDA approved.  The USA is the only country in the world that requires you to get a prescription in order to purchase one.
