Anyone willing to talk with me during my tramadol withdrawal
I am gonna check the site out now! Thank You!
From what I have learned here Tram HAS to be tapered. We cannot give taper advice per board rules. I do know it must be done slowly and methodically. I have heard that brain zaps can be part of it. There is a tram group that might give you some info. It is here:

btw....What is a Brain Zap???? doesn't sound like something I want to experience. Someone pls help.
Heck, the doc is so quick to dish out the meds. I do not know if I trust his withdrawal plan. I still have many but am NOT abusing them. I took one this morning. How does weaning off work???? halfing the dosage....swithching to every other day or what??
I have every single side effect there is and am very afraid!! 2 per day for 3 years....???
Tramadol can be dangerous to go CT off of. You can have muscle spasms, fatigue, depression, muscle twitches/jerks and brain zaps! Very dangerous to quit CT. I suggest talking with your prescribing doctor about getting on a taper plan. I'm sure he/she would be more than happy at figuring something out if you let them know of your concerns and situation.
Also...there's no shame in admitting that you have a problem that you need help with. These pills are poison and they are hard to get off of. The doctors know this as they are prescribing it.
I wish i knew. I don't have an answer for that butvif u need moral support pls feel free to msg me. Good luck hon.
Hi and welcome. I don't know much about Tramadol. I took it for a very short time several years ago. From what I understand from reading here, it has some sort of antidepressant in it in addition to the pain relieving properties. This means you need to wean from it. There are people who have gotten off of it who are members so someone with more knowledge will reach out to you soon.
