How many vicoden do you need to take to be addicted

I have been on Vicoden 4 1/2 months.  I started with 4-5 a day and then lowered my dose eventually down to two a day, where I am right now. About 2 months ago I noticed that if I didn't take the Vicoden early, I would start feeling depressed, achey and down right sick feeling.  As soon as I take 2 Vicoden I feel better and can get through the day.  Sometimes at night I get the feeling back, but try to live with it till the next day or occasionally I will take 1 - 1/2 of a Vicoden.  (I had a previous experience with Ultram, that was similar and I successfully weaned myself off of them.  I was wondering can I have these withdrawel symptoms when I am taking such a low dose. I started to wean myself down to 1 3/4 pills a day and I have more severe symptoms until I take the pills.  Since I don't take large amounts everyday it seems I shouldn't get these symptoms, but like I said as soon as I take the pills I feel better.  Is this more psychological than physical?  Has anyone else had this experience?

Not much left to say really, it's all been covered.  Do it now before it get's worse, you w/d symptoms should be mild and not last too long.  Good luck!

agreed! the longer you take them the worse it will become. are you addicted? only you are the one who ultimately knows that for sure. obviously you've felt some physical addiction toward them already? could also be mental! I know for me it was both! best of luck to you! keep tapering down and your w/ds shouldn't be too bad :)

Totally agree with avisg on this.....dont keep feeding the Dragon, even an appetizer. It will ultimately just be harder to get away from..

Yes you are feeling wd . Even on a small doages does not mean your body has not become dependant on the pills .  I would taper  down and get off before its much harder to do.
