Husbands Oxy Addiction- Some questions..please help

Hello-
I just found out 2 weeks ago that my husband has been snorting Oxy's for the last 2 years.  These last 6 months have been really bad about 5-6 80's a day.  I got him into detox within 48 hours of finding out.  He was there for a week and has come home since.  He's starting NA meetings now.  He's still very weak, no appetite and is loosing weight, constant diarhhea, not sleeping, leg pains and is very sneezy and sniffly.  He did go buy some vitamins the other day and has begun taking them.  He can't do much of anything because he is so weak and has no energy.  Is this all normal stuff from withdrawls?  How long does this usually go on for before he might begin feeling better?

I have no clue when it comes to this stuff and really don't know what to expect or what to do.  Any help or advice would be much appreciated.   Thanks much!

Jason-
From what I understand sub is another form of narctotic so he'd be trading one addiction for another.  Withdrawing from sub is not much different from oxy's.  Can you get him into detox?

Over ---> are some Suboxone FAQ's, you may want to read through that, it will answer most of your questions.

This is totally normal. It will take weeks to get partly back to normal. Immodium for the runs. Hot baths with epsom salts will help the legs and muscles. Look at the Health Pages for the Thomas recipe(on the right side of page). NA or AA is a good choice. I mentioned AA because sometimes people fell more comfortable with one or the other.
