I am clean and sober....yeah!

I posted about a week ago about how I was hooked on Oxy, liquid for the past year. Well Monday I got the courage to go to the doctor and ask him what I can do. He prescribed me with an anti depressant, something to lower my blood pressure and for ADD patients and something to sleep. OMG! I litterally felt like I was on my death bed. I didn't want to move, I didn't want to eat, I couldn't sleep, I layed on my bed, then to the couch, then to my bed, and back to the couch. I didn't do anything or talk to anyone for 4 days straight. I thought it would never go away. Today is day 5 and I was up, eating, cleaning, showering and actually left the house and talked to people today. I still have my back pain, but I am looking into acupuncture or yoga, something, anything to relieve the pain and NEVER make me go back to Oxy, EVER!

If your thinking about doing them, DON'T! If your hooked and want to stop, I promise you that after 4 days of death, things will look better and you will get back to normal. I will report back next week after I have given it a few more days!

Well it's been a week and I am feeling great. Well, almost great. have a TON of back pain and think about poppin a pill to instantly make the pain go away, but I can't and I won't. I am really trying to get to the bottom of my pain and then find out what I can do to get it to be pain free.
Thanks everyone for the encouragment. I was just venting, didn't even think I'd have a bunch of messages when I got back....wow! This site is great. The ADD medication I think was supposed to just chill me out through the withdrawls. I guess you get real shaking and antsy and that medication helped with that and the hot cold sweats also.

Any ideas on how to relieve the back pain? It's in the middle of my back, near the top.....suxxxxx!s
