I messed Up!!!

I still am tapering from the hydrocodone, i was down to three but the pain was unbearable so I am down to my prescirbed dose which is 4 and been doing really good on it. Well yesterday I went to my dads house and all of my brothers and sisters were there, and my sister offered me a adderal pill it was peach and a werid shape. She said that it would give me al ot  of energy, so like a ******* i took it today and really regret it, I feel shaky just werid. But i also have taken the hydro to not togeather though. And i need to take a pain pill before i go to bed. Am I going to be okay?

None of us are doctors on here so we dont know the answer.  You shouldnt be taking someone elses meds anyways.  Part of getting clean is also changing our behavior with meds.  You said your sister gave you an adderall and said it was good for energy.  Those pills are used for kids with ADHD.  I would imagine you wont sleep real well tonight due to taking that pill but like you said a lesson learned.......sara

I'm no doctor, but I've done silly things like you just did.  You may have some trouble sleeping tonight.  The adderall is like speed, but it doesn't have the crash.  You sound like a pain patient for all the right reasons.  When my pain subsided, I couldn't stop taking the hydros.  Hope this is not an outcome for you.  It doesn't have to be.  See if you can substitue advil or whatever instead of a steady diet of hydros.  They are very easy to become addicted to.  All the best!
