Suboxone?

Has anyone ever had any type of breathing problems while taking suboxone? I have been taking Sub for about 7 months and am doing well. The problem is that since I'm weening off of them I am starting to feeling like i can't catch my breath. It is really driving me crazy to have this feeling! I have had a few people tell me it's just anxiety but I don't know what to think? I know Sub can cause breathing problems for someone who takes alot or too much but I am going the other way taking less now then I have before. Any Ideas or comments would be great!

Ah your right i was at the doctors office on Monday and he did say my blood pressure was up and he would have to watch it closely. My bp has always run a little high and I have been aware of that but i remember the doc telling me my bp was 180 over 120! I knew that was really bad before he even had a chance to tell me.  I thank you both for you omput and i think I will call my doc in the morning and tell him about it.Thanks again! Everyone here is so friendly, helpful, and understanding! When I first posted about 7 months ago I got an awsome suport group which ultimately lead to me going to my doctor and getting clean! So thank you all so much! I wish each of you great success!

When I stopped taking suboxone, it was like kicking heroin- I always felt like I couldn't breathe.  Chances are that your blood pressure is a little higher than usual and it's giving you that sensation.  Your doc may be able to give you clonidine(sp?) or something to help with that.

My first thought was anxiety as well .I would tell your doctor asap and have him check it out it might not have anything to do with the sub at all.
