how much does exercise help with paws

Hi I am 17 days off of painkillers after a severely broken arm.I am wondering if exercise will help alot with the paws.I have also experienced almost no pain or rls with my w/d from these meds.Does this mean I am not in for bad paws?Just looking for support as I am sure everyone is.I have been running every since day 4 about 2-3 miles a day.I have to make myself do it and my body feels as though it weighs 300 pounds.Today i finally got out and drove and did some minimal work.I really hope i can enjoy something soon,or at least not be so freaked out and overwhelmed.Thank you  r

Hi, welcome here :).. you post your questions here but it is also a way of talking between us, not only answering questions... you can also private message with members or send notes to them...

you are really doing great by running 3 miles, boosting your endorphines and helping your brain receptors to produce serotonin naturally instead of by opiates, it takes some time though... healthy eating is also a great help... vitamins, b's as Imdonen has said to you, protein shakes are great now.. how are you feeling mentally speaking ?  feeling overwhelmed, anxiety, bouts of depression, lack of motivation are quite common now...

Thanks for answering I will keep posting. This is the first day I have even been motivated to join an online group.I don't know much about how this works even though I do work mostly on computer. Is there any places on here where you just communicate in forum or do you just post questions.Thank you for your help.I can't really tell anyone about this.I detoxed in my apt. and just white knuckled it.This is probably really helpful to me even though I can't see it right now.

No i was on for 8 months.I got hooked like everyone almost does.I had been completely clean of everything for 2.5 years before this.and I was taking 150 mg/per day of ox here this time.I quit cold turkey from that 17 days ago(ridiculously rough and stupid). So it is a little bigger of a prob than i mentioned at first.

And it's probably not PAWS you're experiencing as that typically won't happen (if at all) until after 6 months.

But congrats from me too!  And hang in there it gets better.  :)

You are doing the right thing and I'm guessing you were not on the painkillers for very long? Exercize is the best thing for you..wow 2-3 miles. You seem to be on the home stretch. Keep posting and keep doing what you are doing. Multi- vitamin, b-12...staying hydrated (gatorade) is helpful.
To your health!
