Is caffeine really bad for you while trying to withdraw?

I've seen this time after time Nd never got any real answers why or how caffeine can be bad while trying to withdraw and to stay away from it! Just wondering what's the deal with that?!

I had to stop during wd because it just increased my...hmm hmm...bathroom issues. Haven't touched it since...I just figured I put it down and did good so may as well keep it going...so it worked out :)

I have continued to have about the same amount of caffeine as I did before. I love Coca-Cola but that hasn't been tasting great the past few days (I'm on day 4 off tramadol) so I guess I've had maybe a little less.

I know that sometimes your heart rate can rise during w/d- mine didn't when I finally jumped off but it had been when I was trying to taper down, so adding caffeine to an already elevated HR may be a concern.

I did have to stop all caffeine during wds and still drink it very sparingly. For me, it just increased my anxiety tenfold. Caffeinated drinks can also be a little dehydrating. I guess it just depends on how you handle it. Everyone's different.

I didn't stop during detox. I drink four shots of espresso in the morning, and did so through withdrawals. In fact if you are a long time coffee drinker and stop you will get massive headaches. But I wouldn't recommend using it to boost your mood while detoxing. Won't work.
