Is there a way to taper off long term subutex use?

Am coming to almost 6 years on Subutex...Am worried about withdrawals and PAWS...Right now am on 0.8mgs.

Is there anyone who has tapered off without too much extreme withdrawals and paws?

what can help withdrawals? changing to a short acting opiate?

is there any advise people can give me?

Thanks!!!...I would be greatful if anybody can offer their experience and insight...And what worked for them and how they coped.

One thing am struggling to find is people who who were long-term sub users and stayed Clean..There just aren't many Success-Stories out there regarding long-term Subutex/Suboxone/Buprenorphine use...

tapering to as low as you can go works for moet there is no way of avoiding all withdrawals but you can miminmis them by tapering sub is a funny drug we have had member come off 2mg and have little to no withdrawals and others thate it down to crumbs and go threw 2 weeks of hell you wont know till you jump but most successful story's taper as low as you can b/4 jumping look up the thomas resipe on the low right of this page and have the stuff ready good luck and God bless......Gnarly
