My fiancé is come coming for me...

I have talked to my fiancé this morning and he is flying in next Sunday the first day of my actual withdrawal. I stop tapering in one week from today. I'm so relieved. I also have 11 days off work. He is in the medical field and deals with this all the time. I came clean to him yesterday and am so relieved. He is being amazing. So supportive and grateful. Of course he knew I was addicted before I told him. Please continue to pray for me.

Good for you, telling him everything.  Doesn't it feel better to have everything out in the open?

I hate the stigma associated with addiction.   ANYONE who takes these types of drugs for longer than a few months (sometimes just a few weeks) is going to habituate and have withdrawals.

And we wouldn't be human if we didn't benefit emotionally from the euphoria many of these pills produce (initially at least...then of course, they end up turning on us.)

I'm glad your fiancee is going to helping you...keep us posted!!

Hugs,
-Robin

Thank you. I'm so scared for those 11 days but relieved he will be here to guide me. I know I'll beat this cuz he knows now and I can always turn to him when he is weak.
