I am curious too. I have been on 16mg for about 11 months now. My doc suggests that according to studies, long term use at a stable level, followed by long term taper has the lowest relapse rates. So with me he has me on the same dose as the beginning and we will start to taper 1mg per month for 16 months.

The positive thing about doing it this way is that I have been able to work a strong NA/AA program and that likely will give me enough tools over time to handle the taper and emotional stuff by then.

Sorry I'm still taking it .  I'm down to 1 1/2 mg and doing a long slow taper.
