Welcome first there aren't any doctors here to give u advise. Did u tell ur sub doctor tht u were having the surgery? I am on suboxone and I just had a hysterectomy last month and I made sure I let my suboxone Dr kno as soon as I found out I was having the surgery. We came up with a plan for me to stop the suboxone and start the dilaudid ( my pain med for surgery) and when I wasn't in pain anymore start the subs again. I can't imagine a sub Dr saying u can't take pain meds for a surgery as long as both drs are on the same page and kno about everything. Did he kick u off the program?
