Hey jojo, Yep, the skin crawling is normal. As others said Epsom Salt baths will really help with that. Also a 3 in 1 vitamin with Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc. As far as the nosebleed, well I never had that, but I did sneeze my head off for a few days. If you are the same, perhaps that is causing the nosebleeds.
Hang in there. You are doing great! Keep posting!
Hi there JoJo. The skin crawling feeling and the feeling that your mind is racing are both very common during the acute withdrawals. Hot baths can help the skin crawling in most cases. The nosebleed may be due to sinus irritation. If your nose has been running a lot and you are continuously blowing it, it's normal to have a little bleeding. On the flip side of this, if your sinuses get too dried out (probably not an issue during acutes, because they usually cause a runny nose.) you can have irritation and cracking in the nose from the dryness. It's also possible that high blood pressure is causing the bloody noses. If it's just a small amount of blood, you should be ok. If at any point it becomes hard to stop the bleeding, or they start to happen more often, please seek medical attention. Try to take some deep breaths and remember that this is temporary. You will be through the worst of this very soon. Stay strong and please take care.
I have definitely had the skin crawling. Clonidine works the best for this (a BP med commonly used in opiate detox) as for the nose bleed....I don't know. Have you been sneezing and blowing your nose a lot? How heavy is the bleed?
I think you should consider checking in with a doctor and getting some support honey. You've been through this a lot and I know you are sick and tired of it. Set yourself up for success and get as much support as possible. I'm worried about you.
keep checking in
Lu
