HI....well it varys by clinic but some let you move pritty fast in the beginning others and most clinics move slowly thinking they would rather error on the side of caution then carelessness
the ones that let you move fast take it as long as your body can stand it because when you get to the lower doses your going to have to move real slow or feel the withdrawals there is no comfortable way to do this it goes along smoothly then out of nowhere you get hit with withdrawals certain dose will be hard others you wont even notice this is a race one by the tortus not the hare....I was on 150mg and came off in 8 1/2 mo and thats doing it fast to give you some sort of idea how long this is going to take you . just know it is so so worth it once your free of the liquid handcuffs....keep posting for support we all want to see you succeed
good luck and God bless.....Gnarly
Hi & Welcome,
You need to do this under your doctor's care. We know nothing about your medical background and it would be dangerous to provide a taper schedule. That is why we don't do that here--in public or in private.
Please speak with your counselor at the clinic and explain that you feel it is time to come off. Hopefully you have been seeing a counselor and, or, getting outside support so when you do make the jump you at least have the tools to handle things that may come your way.
Hang around for moral support. There is a lot of good members here that can help you through this. I wish you the best.
Hi~~ I'm so sorry but we are not allowed to give taper advice on the forum or in private messaging. I can tell you that there is a formula that works and you should speak to the clinic about it.
Good luck!!
I'm not a dr, but want about medical detox?? Can your PCP put you in and detox you? Is treatment an option? I wish I had more answers for you. (hugs)
