Mixing Loratab 10 w/methadone for pain

Im currently on 60mg of Methadone a day and have been for almost a year and now unfortunately now i have severe tooth aches bc my wisdom teeth r trying to come in and i have to have them removed bc there is an infection anyways i was prescribed loratab 10 for the pain until im able to have the surgery next week and i was wondering how safe it is to take the two together? I agree with Tram.  Does the dentist know about the methadone?  I am guessing no or you would not be asking this question.  It is very dangerous to take that high of a dosage of opiates and your not under doctors supervision.  That is a recipe for OD.  Please call your doctor.  I know it is hard to be honest but if you really want to do things the right way and the safe way you need to call.  Good luck!!!

Hi!  That is something that you have to run by the doctor and dentist.  The dentist should be aware of the methadone, and the methadone clinic should be aware of the lortab.  That way all is cool with everyone!!!  AND you get good advice on what to do! : )))
