Moment of truth

I finally made it down to 4 pills a day again, tapering down from 10-20 a day. I'm dropping one pill a day, as I take them all at once in the morning. I would usually wake up and take 10 at once and on bad days... maybe 15... and sometimes at night, I would take 10 more.

I could NEVER make it down to only 4 a day.. and yesterday I took 4 when I woke up... today I took 3!!! If I make it past today without taking more... I'm sure I'll be in the clear! As tomorrow I'll only take 2, then 1.

I was buying them on the streets so I tore up all my credit cards... now I can't take money out... and now all the money I do get, I'm paying off all the debt i've accumulated from buying pills. Hahaha!

Hopefully I can get through today. I'm gonna exercise at 6. It seems to be getting easier. I still have a stash of pills but I've left them at work so if I get the urge, i'd have to go all the way to work to get them... That seems to be helping me since I'm feeling hella lazy to go all the way there and gives me time to rethink if I even should.

Thanks everyone for all the support, and I hope those of you quitting find the strength to do so!

It sounds like your tapering is working quite well. I do wonder though if you split up the dose instead of taking them all at once would be helpful. Doing this will keep you from getting a huge dose at once and more of a steady dose throughout the day. I think it will make it easier once you do take that plunge to freedom. Just a idea but do what you think is best.
Keep going strong and keep up that positive attitude! Keep on exercising also as I feel it helps more than anything.
Best of luck!

Glad to hear your taper is going well. That sounds like a fast taper? Stick to your plan and soon your will be off them completely, I hope w/d's are not too bad. May I ask the reason you started them? Tearing up ur credit cards was probably a good idea for now, and after you have quit, break all contacts for pills if ya can, we have to take precautions to stay clean after. I wish you the best of luck and congrats on doing this, you wont regret it:). Stay strong man.
