What and how many a day were you taking, and for how long? Three days! If you were like taking Oxycontin for any amount of time lets say over 2 weeks it would take 3 days before you would be starting to feel the full effects of withdrawals! Allot of these opiates build up in the blood, and take time to cleanse out of the body. But anyway good luck!!! I hope I'm mistaken! Maybe you didn't really have a bad habit to begin with!
Not sure if I'd posted before, but since you have legit pain, have you contacted your doc about his/her advice and help?
What your mind is doing is very normal, and something that I warn about when folks first start the process of getting clean; the voice in your head will whisper "just one won't hurt; taking one now will help you feel a little better".
At some point, the mental part of getting and staying clean is much harder than the physical part. You need to be sure that all sources are cut.
Day 3 is almost over the hump; hang in there and don't give in to your head.
Hi Santana
Going back to work tomorrow is great. Remember this is a slow process.Day 3 is fabulous...don't turn back now. Take hot baths if you can ...that may help with the pain in your back and made me feel considerably better each time I took one...and I took many. I am on Day 10..still not sleeping great and lack energy but the worst of the w/d symptoms are gone.....Feel better..We are all thinking of you
