Hydrocodone... Now I'm 74 hours or probably more and surprisingly I haven't really had any bad symptoms at all besides the chills and the restless legs. I am so proud of myself for doing this. Considering its been 6 years of heavy abuse I think I've done good so far! I think that a lot of it has to do with the power to want to quit and I was ready to for my own sake and my family's sake.
Hang IN !!!!! you are just about to turn the corner soon. Think about it like restarting your computer....your gonna come down....at some point the lowest.....but then,,,you will booting back up...minus the opiates this time. All the settings need to be reset.
Be good to youself during this time. Dont do any extremes..like eating, physical activity etc.....stay 100 % occupied. I bought 10 stouffers entrees so i wouldnt have to cook,,,
much support...

Sorry your having chills. When I detoxed off of oxy. I was so cold I had a hat on. Gloves on. Heating pad on. And I was in a sleeping bag. I get so cold. I feel for you. I do .....stay the course. This will get better. What day are you on
Wow! I'm in 26 hours today and I've been doing lorcets for about 6 years, believe me, you'll get better we will get better I took a bath earlier and I felt better for at least 4 hours. Now im getting chills and restless I'll be up for a while if you want to text back.
Get better! Go get it! Praying... dm
Almost over the hump. I found day 3 to be the worst day. Everyone is different but I think you are getting off easy this time. Just relax and take good care of yourself right now. Hopefully you are eating and taking vitamins so you will get your energy back. You may feel drained for awhile but you've got this. Congratulations.
Thanks guys, I feel pretty good and hoping it stays this way!! I'm at around 53 hours without any pills
Congratulations on 48 hours. According the 120 hour chart I followed to get me through the first 5 days, you only have 72 to go (actually less now). It probably will get worse darlin. Most people peak at day 4. But look at it as short lived. It really is and over before you know it. Please take Immodium for the tummy troubles if you're not. Stay hydrated with as many liquids as you can as all those toxins exit your body. Visualize a body free of all drugs that is clean and sparkly and filled with life. The first 5 days are a blur to me. But I posted every day. This forum get me strong. And now that I'm 3 weeks in on my recovery, I go back and read those posts from Hell Week to remind myself of what I had to endure. You've got this and we'll hold you strong.
You're about half way along. Although your daily use was fairly high, your time using isn't too bad. One thing - don't stress about the withdrawal. I found that worrying about it was almost as bad as the detox itself. In a couple of days you'll be feeling better. Try to eat and drinks lots; if you can't eat then I'd recommend Ensure. When you can eat chow down on healthy food. Get your body back in shape so you'll be able to handle the mental side of detox. That's been my thing - letting folks know that even though the physical side of detox might be over, the mental battle will go on for a while.
Great job. Keep posting.
Hi There, I think you will get off quite easy. You are very wise to stop this cycle before it turns really ugly on you. Do you have immodium for your tum tum? Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and eat some lean protein or drink a protein shake. Don't anticipate the worst, just take it as it comes and manage the symptoms when they arise. Keep posting, kinda slow right now, but others will be along to lend advice. Luck and peace to you,
