I went to the ER on Halloween Night and got into a rehab on November 1. Been clean since then. Spent 28 days in rehab, my insurance only covered rehab even though I had to detox on my own. I took a bunch of Lyrica and drank a drink or two on Halloween and now am on much less medication and free of the Coricidin, Thank God. Thanks for the concern, it was much appreciated. :) Hitting up a meeting tonight, Will be browsing the site some more when I get home.
let me know what you did about ambien withdraw please . I have been taking Ambien nightly for 6 years and worried if I stopped i will get massive night terrors .
Wish the best to you and Detox would be the best best for you !
Ok Coricidin can be very very dangerous. I have a friend that died of an overdose. This drug contains on average of 30mg dxm per pill. You must be in another world taking that much of this drug. Coricidin also contains a drug called CPM (Chlorpheniramine Maleate) which is extremely dangerous in high doses and very lethal. You need to get to a detox NOW. This is no joke you have a family to support that can not live without their mom. Please get help. Most of the symptoms you are experiencing are w/d of dxm. Basically everything that the box says it helps with you are now going to experience, aches pains, stuffy nose, watery eyes, stomach aches. I have no idea how your doctor is prescribing you all of there DANGEROUS medications at once. And to add the coricidin to it is a death wish. Please please do not mix dxm with xanax or percs. This is how a really good friend of mine died and he wasn't taking close to as much medicine as you. I am really worried for you and I wish you the best. I will followup with you tomorrow call and get the help.
My medical doctor told me to go to my psychiatrist and my psychiatrist told me to either go to my medical doctor or go to drug and alcohol intake to get into a detox/rehab.
With all the meds you are on you need to go thru your medical doctor to get off these safely. Please dont do this on your own.........sara
