Odd reaction to oxycodone

Last night I had the weirdest reaction to oxycodone. I broke down in all ways (mentally, physically, emotionally) and had it out with someone. I was "buzzed" for about 6 hours, and it really took a toll.

I don't know what it is, but oxycodone is not something people should mess with to much in higher doses, they might find it's ugly side.

Odd you say kratom I'mdone, I have some in the mail, but I am treating it like I do the ***** and yes, I am bleeping it out. People would get the idea to take ***** like I am for withdrawals and end up flopping like a fish out of water from seizures.

Oxy480Jim, I am trying to get the medication that will work enough, oxycodone 5mg is the most they have given me, I have had about 6 tests, numerous blood work tests and the pain is still there, then you also have my back pain.

So, taking the max dosage of oxycodone is the only way right now I can control my pain, and it's just enough to control it. Until the colonoscipy is done, I am hoping, they will know what is wrong with me.

Thank you for the replies everyone.

I know a lot of people (older relatives) who get buzzed on a prescribed dose and only when taking them for a short term period of time (after surgery, that sort of thing) - and they aren't an addict like me.  I believe that's why it's so easy to get addicted even if you don't have a history of addiction.

You shouldn't get "buzzed" if you are taking it properly for chronic pain.  If he has to take so much that he gets buzzed,  then  he should switch to Oxycontin

You shouldn't be taking it to get "buzzed" at all.  Even taking it properly for it's intended purpose,  over time it'll makes people short tempered.

I'm confused - you're still taking the narcotics?  I think I've lost track of what's happening with you.  (I'm sorry).  (oh and I don't know what else you're taking that was bleeped by our moderators?)

Try not to get into any confrontations in the meantime, okay. Just walk away. Was it your BIL?

Can you ask people near you or at work for a heads up on a good doctor?  Sometimes that's the best way...

I am okay today, took some ******** (don't worry, never take more than 8 days of that stuff) for withdrawals. Not safe unless you CAN stop taking it.

Anyways, I don't know, I might just go to the ER tomorrow and HOPE I get a good doctor. I have to work tomorrow night. Got the dealing job.
