if you are on an extremely low dose for a week, you will still go through withdrawals that could be worse than the hydro.
sub's stay in your system A LOT longer than the hydro and even on them a week, imo you will still go through some withdrawal.
guess what i am saying is you are just prolonging the withdrawal and chancing it being worse, the ambien withdrawal may be worse than the hydro
I feel really confused. The center that is helping me told me that I would not go through withdrawls after taking the meds. I was very concerned about it, but they assured me that it would be fine. I have been very sure to tell them that I do not want to continue this medication after the five day detox.
The Ambien withdrawl was very, very bad. Much worse than the hydro withdrawl I have experienced in the past. I couldn't even get up and walk to the bathroom without shaking like I had Parkinsons disease. I would highly recommend anyone going through Ambien withdrawl gets help somewhere and does not try cold turkey.
This is my opinion......the suns will stop the withdrawls but....when you stop the subs you'll have withdrawls from them too...either way your gonna experience detox. I took suns in rehab for eight day...and guess what after three days of no subs I went into withdrawls....I just prolonged my detox. I couldn't tell you of my detox was woes from the subs or not but it didn't stop them....and I've seen a lot of people get hooked on subs because detoxing anyway you go isn't fun....that's why people keep using suns or whatever it's in our human nature to avoid being sick. Our bodies fight us when were sick...we're very uncomfortble....we think we're gonna die, our bodies think it needs the pills/opiods to servive. And we all know that's not the case...it's our bodies and minds screaming more more pills...wheres my opiods..that's why our failure rate is so high.....
Research suboxone online..not just from addiction doctors or the manufacture but from real people who have used the suns and want off...we have several members here that are currently getting off subs. Hopefully they will post for you.
Is this your first attempt at cleaning up? Best of luck in whatever you decide
Ambien can be a very bad detox...pills are just really bad for a week. Like the flu. Not like ambien
Please explain your comment. I would love to talk with someone who has come off of Ambien, but I am confused by your response.
I took a lot of ambien 2003 until last year. I still don't sleep right. It takes a while for your body to learn to fall asleep again. All the poise new put in our body's takes time to get back out. I wouldn't prolong the wd or go through an even worse wd.
My husband had to get off of Lunesta AND Ambien after his last surgery. The docs insisted he had to taper off them because of his long-term usage. Lunesta especially was originally billed and non-addictive but they lied. The docs told me that hubby ran the risk of a central nervous system seizure if he quit abruptly. Be careful okay?
