Past the 48 hour mark from my last dose of subs headed to the 72 hour mark

Well it has now been 48 hours since my last dose of subs. I know I'm getting ready to head into the worst of it but I'm determined to stay strong. Last night I tossed and turned a lot but I did get some sleep. Thank goodness for restful legs. I think fear of the unknown on how bad it's going to get is the worst. I'm trying to
Just think of it as I have the flu. That reduces my anxiety a ton. So I'm heading into 72 hours now. I wish time would stop going so slow.

You have 2 days totally clean, and you got some sleep, you're doing great! I actually think you'll be feeling better rather than worse, very soon. You just might be surprised. I hear you on that Hyland's Restless Legs. Great stuff.

You're doing great!!!!!  I would agree that you're already experiencing the worst of it.  You had tapered down so low that you'd be feeling the worst by now!  That should make you feel much better.  You've got a wonderful attitude.  Just hang in there!  This will be over soon! :)

The thing about subs is, it seems to go in waves. Keep that in mind if you have a rough day, but like nurse girl said, the worst of it shouldn't be much more than what you feel now. Your taper was good and you weren't on them for too long. I got a good feeling about you, you have beat the monster.

That's great :) Just try to think more that you just have the flu and not w/d. That has help me a ton with my anxiety.

I too have just passed my 48 hr mark since my last dose. I have been addicted to Vicodin for at least 7 years. I took half of a 7.5 on Thursday morning and started feeling the withdrawals by that evening. Last night was pretty rough. But like you I am terrified of the unknown. I will be so relieved to know when I am past the hump so that I don't have to be so fearful of what is yet to come. I have thought so many times if I could just wake up and it be Tuesday already! Stay strong I am here with you going through the agony as well.....good luck and stay strong. I just keep praying that seems to help

I think it's going to be WAY better than you think.  The 48 hour mark is a great sign!  While Sub has a long half life and can delay w/ds a bit, when a person is on lower doses (under 2mg), the w/d symptoms start much quicker (usually within 8 hrs of the last dose), so I bet you won't feel any worse than you do now.  I bet!  Keep up the attitude doll, you got this!  I'm watching for your updates!

Congrats! Stay strong. We'll all be here for you. Subs have a longer half life, so, hang in there. Also, be active. That has helped me so much. Last use of SUbs about 2 weeks ago, and last use of oxys 6 days ago. We can do this!!
