Quitting Tramadol (Support Group) 3

Just trying to get in touch again with all my Fellow Tramadol addicts.  Come here to my group and join us in quitting Tramadol.  Who are you and how many do you take a day?  How long you been on Tramadol?  I joined the Forum here on 13 Sep and was on 13 pills per day then.  I am now at 7 per day!  I took about 15 a day for 3-4 years there.  Sometimes upwards of 20.  But I was at 13 per day when I made the choice to quit.

My update!  I'm still at 7 per day.  Took 7 on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  Of course I'll take 7 on Wed, Thu, Fri too.  Saturday, I go to 6!  Getting closer!!!  Three more days of 7 per day.  Then I'll be at 6!!   WoooHooo!!  I'm so Happy.  I have actually been real drained last couple days.  It is hard to get through my work day, walking 7 hours straight Mon-Fri, so draining.  I come home and go straight to bed.  That's why I'm up now.  And the brain zaps are getting worse in the mornings, and my sleep is starting to be effected, waking up several times a night, tossing and turning.  (That agitated feeling).  Restless legs kinda, just very very mild insomnia starting to come.

I don't get any of those kinds of feelings..(I take as directed for the most part), just sometimes a nice "tranquil, "Level" feeling when I'm down.  Never speedy or I'd get all the stuff done around the house I shoud be getting done..

btw..my dog was given tramadol for an injury...he and I just lie around the house lazy as hell.

Yea, I get methamphetamine like effect from Tramadol.  They make me speed like Mad.  I do get a euphoric feeling from them sometimes, when peaking.  I'm not going to explain how to make Tramadol have those effects, but they can and do with me.  They make me feel far better than hydrocodone ever did.  To me hydrocodones are very weak, Very Weak compared to Tramadol.  But they do work on pain differently.  I'm not going to explain how to use it for pains either.  But it can and does with me work very well with Pain.  However, I understand drugs do not effect each and every person the same, far from it.

I'm at 6-7 per day...only been using them for a few months.  My doctor put me on them for back pain due to my addiction to vicodin.  I know I need to stop.

No,,there's not a buzz like from opiates, but I find a general "nice" feeling from taking them. I'm at a point where my body isn't "screaming" for them as it did for vicodin but it's poking at me letting me know it's about time to pop a couple.  

I'd like to  know  a good taper off of the plan.

Quick question Pan, were you guys actually getting stoned on this stuff?  I don't mean any disrespect or anything, it is just that from my perspective (I was injecting 5 mg of fentanyl at a time at my peak usage, that's roughly equal to 500ish mg of morphine) I find it hard to imagine even feeling an ope like tramadol (well of course then I would not have).  Would you get euphoric from it?  Stuff like that?
