Great job on day 5 and thanks for letting us know how you're doing! I'm sorry you had two seizures and broke a finger but it will all be worth it (heck, it already IS)! It sounds like you're in the best place you can be and you can really focus on you and your recovery. Please keep us posted and know that we're all here cheering you on!
Im rooting for you! THANK YOU for updating us on how you are! Sounds like you are getting some great treatment!
Good job, Amber. You will make it.
May I ask how many Trams you were on daily and for how long?
I had no idea that this drug was so much worse than other opiates. I did know that it is addictive, but I know many people who use it. I'm shocked it would take a ten day detox for it.
GREAT!!! Keep on keepin' on....you got this!!
this is awesome news amber. thank you so much for letting us know.
you are doing great. i hope and pray you are feeling better.
you are in my thoughts and prayers,
Debbie
Great job on day 5!! I made it 9 days today and couldnt handle the sluggishness so I caved and took a half a pill. Sickening how my body "stabalized" after about 30 min. Ugh...im not sure how this will set me back but I havent gone that ling w out tram in four years so im proud and im not giving up. Im sorry about your seizures, that is kind of scary since I hardly gear of them while coming OFF of trams. Prayers for you and all of us!!
This is rather embarrassing but I took 15 - 25 a day. But there was a guy in the hospital (i got home today) that only took 4 a day for 6 months and has been there for 8 days still tripping out. Every drug is suppose to go through all this studies and trial on people. I don't care what the drug companies say but I know damn well that some of those people doing the trials felt an unexplained amount of energy and pleasure. And if they had the people doing the trial longer than a month then it had to have been hard for them to stop taking it. Everything about them saying "it's the new miracle pain med" is ********! Sorry for my venting. I still have some withdraws but the sweating has stopped but not the anxiety. I have something that will help with that though. I can't remember if you are a friend But I would like to add you if it's ok by you
its very common for coming of tramadol with siezures its a two part drug part pain med part anti depressent its the second half that causes the siezures and everyone is going to act differantly to any drug
I have a seizure disorder and I get them when I detox for some reason. Shoot I got two when my last dog died because I was so upset. It just happens even if you are on the proper amount of meds
That's right :-) I have a problem with them initially but anything that seriously upsets me or obviously detoxing will cause them too
