Thanks, I will buy some tomorrow..Hugs
Thanks so much for caring...I came home from church early because I did not get much sleep last night...I kept getting up with my are throbbing.. I have decided that if I have to have the surgery that I may have to take pain pills for a few days, but I can have someone monitor them...My son-in-law that is here until tonight said that when you have a surgery like that the pain meds actually help the healing..I have had surgery's before but apparently this one is very painful..His father is a doctor and a very good one..He is now retired and in his later 70's and he and his wife still run marathons...That coming out of my son-in-laws mouth made me think because his family are big on natural healing stuff and very healthy..I am just paranoid...I am not going to worry about that now..I am not afraid of the pain because I have lived with pain most of my adult life, I am just afraid of getting caught up in that trap..With that said my new doctor is not one for prescribing pain pills, but am sure with something like that he will send me home with some and make sure they are monitored...I hope I am making sense..Big Hugs...
I know Sarah!! i saw them in concert here in Orlando...i almost melted....hahaha....they got me thru my chemo treatments back in 05....they have a special place in my heart.. :))
How are you feeling today Denise?
Dont let yourself get overwhelmed with over thinking about your surgery if you need it. When you feel this way take some deep breaths and get busy with something else. It is the fear of the unknown that comes into play here.
I have watched the video of them playing in a colliseum singing Amazing Grace. Noone has ever sang that song like they do.
I agree, this is a journey for sure! I can imagine that it is hard to think of having to rely on others when you have always been so independent. I would be willing to bet that your daughter and son-in-law are happy to "serve" you for a change; it probably makes them feel good too. Try not to worry about the future and whether or not you will need the surgery. Live for today and enjoy having your family dote on you - you deserve it, you really do :))
Sorry you are going thru this Denise...yes staying busy helps...as much as you can anyway with the pain...i hope you get it sorted out soon...oh and I LOVE IL Divo!! lol posting here always helps....you are doing great girl!!
Sorry to hear that your in a lot of pain. Try to focus on having family over. Babbling isnt a bad thing, keeps your mind occupied. Babble away! I found these pain relievers called "Vanquish" I got them at Walmart not sure if thier sold everywhere but they work wonders for my shoulder and back. Take a look next time your out. If you can find them I highly recommend them. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
