SUBOXONE / DEPRESSION / HELL........

Long story short I started on percocet 7 years ago right after having my 1st daughter. Not long after my 1st pill I got back with my now fiance' ( my daughters father) and just so happened he was on pills aswell I got help and started on suboxone about 2 years ago while he went the other route started shooting up heroin which he is now in Jail for. Hes been locked up for almost 1.5 years now and of course hes 100% clean and estatic about it while im still struggling with getting off suboxone. Im scared to death of the whole situation. With him being in jail im a single mother of 2 i work an accounting job 40+ hours a week im now having health issues (heart) which idk if the suboxone is contributing to and am just stressed to the max emotionally and physically and really feel like im just losing it. My priorites are all out of whack, my attitude is a rollercoaster and Im just so tired of feeling this way. Did anyone else have these kind of side effects while on suboxone (depression/memory loss/confusion/etc) ???? Is anyone else working on getting off of suboxone? how has it been?

I know that some on this site see subs as a God send, I just don't. However, I didn't taper correctly, I did it fast so my w/d wad bad. But I hear from people that are only taking slivers that they still had long w/d because of the half life and the length if time on them. These subs were not meant to be taken long term. Online u should be able to google suboxone halflife and it will tell u how long from your last dose it stays in your system. Make a plan and tell your family what your doing so they can help. Yes, its going to suck..but once its done, its done!!!!! Gatorade, immodium, gaba 750 (gnc), emergen c, good multivitamin, epsom salts (big bag!!!), possibly some meal replacement shakes (I had absolutly no appetite for about 3 weeks) and time.  U can do it for sure, but the longer u stay in them, the harder it will be. My opinion, they give us a false sense of security b/c with the subs, u don't miss a beat. But we have to if were ever going to be truly clean. I still have bad days for sure and I'm not out of the woods yet but today is definatly better. Just push through it. When it *****, post, the people on here can help. I think we have to feel some pain, so we know and remember how we got here.

I started at 8 mg a day and am down to only 4mg a day. I break the strips in half and only do 1 mg at a time but I want to just be done all together. I have had days where I only took 3mg all day but I go right back to doing all 4 the next day. My mom and friends all know what im going thru but obviously dont understand since they have never been addicted to anything.

I DO! I just came off of them 36 days ago. How much do u take a day? Do u have anyone around u that can help, parent, sibling, etc...? The amount u take will determine how long it takes to w/d and the severity.

I don't know about the subs or their effects but I wanted to drop in and throw my support your way. Hang in there! Someone will be along soon who DOES know!
