I am just wondering to myself and reflecting over 31 yrs . There are some trully fantastic people on here who offer valued advice that most doctors/GP's cant give because we live the life that there text books teach them .
I am currently withdrawing from codeine addiction , unbelievable because i was at the height of my fitness and top of my game but we are only human . I did play with the usual weed and ectasy when i was in my younger days but it was never an addiction . I was in control , then i met codeine , great relieves the pain from an injury , then i decided that i liked the way it would pick me up at the end of work , then i decided it would help me allday everyday and the rest of the story we all know ,unfortunatley my brain didnt see this as a system error!!
I dont look back and think it was a bad experience , i just see it as a learning curve and life experience and maybe it has armed me with a tool to help others as i see med help is a testiment to people who are doing this right now .
Its great the way we pull toghether to help those in need and it shows that the help is there after so long of living the lie .
I know this shoulve been posted in the social site but i forgot , so apologies to the admin team.....AND A KEEP THE FAITH TO ALL ON HERE AND JUST THINK IF IT WASNT FOR THE PAST YOU WOULDNT MEET THE PRESENT . NO REGRETS!!!!!!!
