I think im having xanax withdrawls too now!

DOes anyone know if I should be throwing up after stopping xanax .25?  I only took it 4 days in a row but the week before that they were giving me ativan for supposed anxiety that i was having from lortab withdrawls.  I have not had a lortab in 11 days or a xanax in 2 days but now i am throwing up...last night i had the spins so bad and i went to the ER..i told them what was happening and they gave me bengryl..i finally slept last night but i woke up this morning an threw up..i feel so weak and i am scared cause they said last night my bloodwork was ok...i feel very out of sorts...Is this normal?  Ps last night was the first night i slept in two days with that benadryl...feel so sick today...i thought day 11 would me me feel a little better

On day 18 I got the nastiest cold and cough I have had in years!! I couldnt move for like 3 days just laid on the couch. If your ammune system is all out of wack you may have just picked up something, especially if you have 5 kids they are little germ factories!! Everyone is right just try and calm down and breath!!

I agree with everyone else mommyoffive0529 - please find a way, whether it's exercise, or meditation, to try and calm down.  I think your thoughts are affecting you physically and it's so important to find a way to manage the way you're thinking during this time.

I think talking to the psychiatrist today should help you.  Try breathing exercises (5 seconds breathing in, 10 seconds breathing out - repeat 5 times) and take a hot shower.  There are a lot of other ways to deal with this - have you tried any of our suggestions?  I really think you need to give them a shot.  What have you got to lose?  They won't make you feel any worse than you already do right?

Well guys i rad a ton of crazy stuff about benadryl online today and i have the same kind of side effects...my body just does not like pillsss....i had hte worst burning in my chest last night and i cant get out of bed...im really not over thinking it but im so exhausted...going to the doc and psychiatrist at 2:30...no more pillsss

I'm with Sarah on this one.  .25 xanax is a very small amount.  I hope you get some relief.

You have made many trips to the ER and all your tests have come out fine.  Have you thought about talking with someone about your anxiety?  You are putting yourself thru more he!! than is necessary.  If you calm down you will feel better........sara

Its all of the above so to speak. Its all a result of our body's trying to re-adjust..My last time quiting I really was feeling good going into my second week. Had I not had a major, and I mean major nerve flairup from this junk they had put in me that was like an internal band-aid on the surgery site, I would have made it the last time..

You've got to stop focusing on the bad feelings you having and focus on "it will get better". Hey, I want to feel better like "right now " too, but I have accepted thats not going to happen..So I do the best I can and try not to dwell in the wd's....I don't know any other way to describe how I'm working thru this and keeping those feelings your having at bay..Because I'm having them too..

I took benadry lst night and it help me sleep but now this morning i feel bad...i cant move and my head is really heavy...is this from the benadryl or anxiety,,,wtf

Mommy, I feel like c**p too. Major headache, restless, aches here and there, real fat head feeling but I know this will not go on forever..I was closing in on 3 weeks the last time I quit and was feeling far better than a week prior. There is no instant fix..You've got to home in on the thought that it "is" going to get better, not worry about how bad it is now...Just try..

I cant take the ativan or xanax and it was making me suicidal....seriously...i am calling them today...i cant take any more meds...only took bendryl yesterday

I really don't think it's the xanax or ativan. It sounds more like stress/anxiety or perhaps a virus at this point.

Do you have a family doctor?  Why don't you call?

Are you drinking and eating? Taking Peptobismal? Is there anything else that you take on a daily basis?
