Somone save me if you will and take away all these pills

Is there anything positive about the methadone treatment been on it for 40days now. It seems to help but i fear i will only have to withdrawl from that and i have only heard of suboxone was offered that too at my intake for methadone. I just fear the withdrawls i can not function at all and i have a wife and 2 kids to support can not afford to lose my job over this. Is there a miracle cure for this sickness.  If i was rich or become rich in my lifetime i would support the study of withdrawls and a better medicine to help us.

I think the suboxone route may have been a better choice, only because the methodone gets into your bones and seems to be the more difficult of the two. When you go back, see if you can take that offer. Do what you can until you can work that out and try to taper slowly from there. There are so many people here that can help you see this through. Take care of yourself and try not to stress or worry about it. This isn't meant to stay, you will see it pass away...

Sorry to be the messenger of this one but there is no magic pill or cure for this.  Wd's are going to happen and Methadone can be brutal.  Many people have come off methadone and they will answer this better than i can.....Do you have a quit plan in mind??  We are always here for support........sara
