You sound so committed to your sobriety, please celebrate and completely embrace your new approach to life; one that is healthy and strong, truly seeking a wonderful and happy future.
My daughter is/was an oxy addict..... and it took many relapses and many treatments to find one that is helping her to regain her life....she has the opposite medical problem, detox makes her BP plummet, and all of the drugs to help with w/d she can't take, because her BP is way too low, with drug addiction everyone's body is different.. And you are absolutely correct, what works for you may not work for another.... no one has any right to judge you tho, or your treatment plan...... unfortunately drug addiction does come off a cookie cutter belt!
Take good care of yourself, sweetheart. When you are unsure or have questions please talk to your councelor or addiction doctor.. or post here and those that know your stuggle can help you. Have you attended or checked into any NA/AA meetings, they do such a great job........ Al-Anon was a bit of my sanity and still is thru the addicion curse. Please take advantage of any and all resources available to you. You have to want sobriety more than you have ever wanted anything in your life........ and it will pay back for you ten fold.
I am a bit suprised by the Sub cost.........I live in a metro area that is fairly expensive and the monthy Suboxone treatment here is less than half of what they quoted you.... Keep asking questions, taking control of your life, and doing all that is required of you to beat the destructive addiction cycle.
My best thoughts and wishes are with you!! Take good care of you always!
