Starting day 6 clean

I'm really glad I found this site, informative and caring.  I thought I might add a few lines to the millions that are here already.  I found it key to keep reading the posts and the posts behind the posts.  For me it worked like a guide out of this messed up pill world that most of us lived in.  God knows I loved my fix.  Anyway, beyond all that, I quit taking 6 days ago but I had your help and I had some more help from Seroquel.  Believe it or not I chilled by reading these posts and by taking 25mg of the Seroquel every 3 or so hours and 50mg before bed to sleep thru the night.  Absolutely worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!! No WD symptoms whatsoever other than being a little groggy from the Seroquel.  It worked for me and got me thru the tough times so maybe it would help someone else out there get away from this nasty habit.  I was a true pillhead and probably will have to watch it forever but I'm clean 6 days and I did it in a way that I didn't have to suffer.  Thank you everyone for your posts and your insite.  It helped me get thru.

bill, congrats on 6 days clean that is really awesome.  keep on going, freedom is yours for the taking.  please consider gettin some aftercare lined up na/aa is great for that.  you are doing good.  keep posting and updating us

Thank you bud, I appreciate that.  Yeah, I sure was lucky I didn't have to suffer this time.  I got thru on these posts.  If it wasn't for people like you and a little medicine I don't think I would have made it this far.  Thanks again and tak care......Bill

That sounds great...many have to work or take care of kids ..would be nice to just sleep thru WDs..glad u r doing so well
