Strange question!!!

Hi everyone this is for all the sub users or ex users, ok on Friday at 10am I was admitted to the hospital with a tubepregnancy they did emergency surgery I took my dose of 1mg of sub at 8am then was in the hospital in and out of it (I had a really hard time with the hole anhesticia and all) anyways was discharge on Sunday evening with pain killers that I was instructed to take for multiple reasons pain and bleeding my husband told them about the sub and the doctor said "I don't care she needs to take this no matter what you can hold them or trust her".
Like I said I been in and out I didn't take anything Sunday that I can remember at the hospital or at night, anyways on yesterday the first thing in the am I took 1mg of sub then my husband tell me "You were not suppost to take that!! you need to take this" I looked and is vicodine, I started to cry of pain and fustraction (sorry I can't even spell today). I took viks yesterday 1 3 x a day and today 1 so far and is not helping with the pain so my husband called the doctor and he said I may have to go to ER again. Sorry I wanted to share and also to ask the viks are not working because of sub? even though it was 72 hours with out sub but then took 1mg yesterday? I'm so confused my sub doctor says I need to do what the OB surgeon says.
Please help if you can

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through!  I dont know why they gave you vicodin, when your pain is so high and also you being on sub.  My friend had a similar situation, with the permission of her sub doctor, they had to give her twice as much morphine as she would normally have gotten, and they sent her home with perc 10mgs. She was told to stop the sub and stay on the percs until the pain went away, then she was to wait at least 12 hrs after her last perc and resume her sub, although she was at a higher dose of sub than you.  I dont envy you, i hate going to the hospital and them looking at me like all i want is drugs, mother@#$%&*$. I hope if you do go back they and ur husband will be alittle more symphatetic to you and the pain ur experiencing.

hi i was on suboxone and the suboxone has naloxone in it, wich means it will cancel out the affects of vicodin .with everything you are going through i would listen to the doc but have your husband contrl your vicodin. can you stop taking the subs for a few days then start on the viks? or do you have withdrawls if you dont take the subs? i hope you can figure it out. there is a drug called subutex, it is the same thing as suboxone but without the naloxone.
