im new on this site. i read some good things some people had to say. so im seventeen, freshman in college and ive been addicted to opiates for over ffouryears (wow thats scary)...ive been trying to stay off of them for the past two years and the longest i have lasted has been barely a month but that was over a year ago.. t. i dnt know what to do. i want to stop soooo bad and everyday i tell myself i can do it. but that voice idk. i always end up falling back. i dnt know hw to function sober....i have everyone telling me i need to stop but what the hell do ido lol ive been trying...trying trying trying trying. is this supposed to be a question??

well the first step is the hardest and your taking it now....the people on this site are more than willing to help you... but ultimately it's up to you....would you have any availability for counseling?  it ill help remove the idea that you have to go through this alone...your young with a full life ahead of you do this for youself ....it will be difficult but it will be more than worth it.....Good Luck

You need to make a true commitment to getting clean, which involves detaching yourself from anyone who you get the drugs from. Decide if you want to tapper off the stuff or go cold turkey. You really have to want to do this, it won't happen with a half a$$ attempt.  Your very young, with a full life ahead of you...if you get off the drugs. If not, your future is very grim....poverty, jail, death.
Keep posting and reading on this forum. Everyone here will help you thru this. Make the smart decision before your life is ruined.
