I've been taking 80 to 100 mg of 325/10 hydro for about 3 months before that I was clean for 6 months and before that about the same mgs for 18 months im starting suboxone tomorrow at 12 I was wondering at that dose and since it's considered a short life med can I take my last dose at 1130 then it would 24 hrs before I take the sub without getting the precipitated wd? Thanks in advance guys ! Prayers plz !

Ok guys  He gave  me a half of a 4mg pill in the office at 145 it's 550 and I feel really high still from the sub is this normal ? I feel like I took 5 or 6 325/10 hydro ??? Freaking me out !!

I would not consider your dosag "minor addiction". It's moderate.  Abviously there are folks using more than you but 100mg / day of hydrocodone is a significant dosage.

Subs gave me time to get rid of sources to drugs.  They also changed my behavior regarding how much I took.  You don't really feel all that much better taking more, so I just had to get used to lowered expectations. They gave my reward pathways time to normalize so I didn't  have to deal with the intense cravings when I got clean.

The bad things
Sub ozone doctors are poorly trained as a group of health care providers
Suboxone Docs have a financial interest in you coming back each month
The claim that sub ozone is ok to take long term have not been substantiated with good clinical studies
Patients listen to the sub doctors and fail to do their own research.
No studies have been done to determine the best ways to use it and the best ways to stop using it.

Big- you will just have to go thru sub withdrawl then and it's worse. Replacing one for another does nothing to help the real problem: living life clean. That is where your focus needs to be. Aftercare (meetings etc.) a ton of support. Detox is a blip in the big picture. What will you do to STAY clean?

I have tried weening and have gone thru the hell of wd but I just can't handle the cravings and I'll give in !

In my opinion subs are worse than hydro!
Can you taper off the hydro?
