Suboxone WD and Percocet

I stopped taking my Subs about 18 days ago.  Was down to 1mg am and 1mg pm.  Was having a lot of severe back pain, so last week I went to my Doc and he gave me 100 Perc 10's and said to take 1 every 6 hrs for 50 of them, then start taking 1/2 a pill for the rest and I should be fine.  Now I know all about the addiction and believe me, I'm not going there again.  Plus I almost had to do 60 yrs in prison so that was enough to scare the crap out of me.  Anyway, what I'm getting at is as soon as I get near that six hr mark my WD or backpain and RLS.     returns.  Now since I can feel the Perco, shouldn't that mean the Sub is out of my system or am I just thinking this is happening and it's not.  I doubt this would be WD from Perco since I don't think I've taken enough plus it's been happening all along.  BTW, I have been on the Percs exactly one week today and still have 80 so as you can see, I'm not abusing them b/c when I did abuse Lortab, that many would be gone already!!

The sub should be out of your system by now. If not, then it is really close to being gone. The reason why you are feeling the withdrawal symptoms after 6 hours is because the Percocets are wearing off. They have a much shorter half life than the subs and are processed out pretty quickly. As long as you keep taking opiates, you will continue to drag this out. You won't be able to truly detox or go into full withdrawals until you stop taking the Percocets. It sounds like the doctor is attempting to taper you a little bit. This might help the intensity of your symptoms, but you will still have them. Unfortunately there is no getting around withdrawals.
