Day 37! You are doing it!! Keep up the hard work.
Thanks Pillguy. Things are definitely starting to look up. Congrats on six months man. I can't even Phathom six months. Hour by hour and one foot in front of the other. Today is day 34, I'm taking a half day off from work to go swimming in the pool with my family then taking them away for the weekend to the beach. I think this is more for me than them. I feel that the WD at this point is not constant, it comes in waves. Although the waves are becoming more and more less frequent?. Thanks for reading. Writing in here helps with the day. I hope it helps everybody else. God speed!
Quitting the cigs is interesting. I also quit the cigs. I find that opiates really stimulated my nicotine addiction. I loved to smoke while on opiates. Its great to be free of both
Nice to hear you're doing well. At this point it is common for folks to wonder if they will ever feel "OK". Yes, that awful lethargy and depression DO go away. I'm about 6 months clean off Suboxone and I'm getting ready to take my granddaughter on a week long hiking trip to the North Cascades. Keep in mind that it doesn't happen all at once, but you will feel better week by week. After a few months you'll feel nearly normal. You are going to be OK.
Day 32 was much better. Got some work done. Still feeling a bit fatigue but getting through. God speed!!!
