TRAMADOL effects??

I injured my back at work and was originally put on vicotin but i told my doctor i dont like the feeling of being high so he switched me to tramadol.So will this get me high like the vicotins?And i read about it being addictive so if thats the case i will most likely flush them down the toliet.My concern is that i have a 11 month old and i dont want to be high from the pills..i want to focus on my son...

I am glad i found this site and you guys.I once had a problem with cocaine and painkillers.I do have a addictive personality and the last thing i want is to pick up another addiction....My son is helping me stay clean!

Smart thinking in not believing your doctor. He/She is probably convinced that Ultram is not addicitve, but as you can see from the replies it most definately is!! Glad to hear you are introducing them to the toilet!!

Oh ya i asked my doc about it and he said its not addictive because i only have a 30 day supply...I dont believe him one bit!

yeah i def wouldnt be taking those it is really hell trying to come off of them if you continue to take um youll just get higher and higher in dose

to me ultrams is vcompletly dfferent than vics you will feel buzzing off of two pills vics are alot more calmer the ultrams make you like really happy and talkitive and like speeding its like your tweaking it kinda sucks

tramadol/ultram ruled my life for over 3 years. its very addicting and very hard to withdrawl from. i have read that tramadol is for short term use only, like 7 days.  i have been free from that evil drug for 91 days.

cooly ultram is very addicting it is my DOC ,I would go ahead and flush it :).It is really bad to withdrawl from.

I hear Subutex has a role in pain too im not that knowlegable but i know it wont make you high

If you haven't started them, don't. I am in the process of trying to wean myself off. I started to have wd symptoms after trying to go off them after only taking them for a month. Try anything else first.

I know nothing about Tramadol, hopefully one of the community leaders will be able to point you in the right direction. I the mean time we will keep bumping you up on the list so you don't get lost.
