I hate this pain, i hate that i crave now

its days like today that make me feel like Im on that slippery slope again. omg my back has been killing me since 2 a.m. ! I didnt get any sleep not only cuz of my back but my 6 yr old has had a fever for 2 days straight of 102 so Ive been up with him constantly. This stupid low pressure that has STALLED over us is making my spine hurt so bad I cant stand it! It hasnt let up all nite/day, i havent gotten anything done around here at all aside from my kids immediate needs. I HATE THIS. It makes me want a vicodin sooooo bad to relieve the pain. thankfully i have absolutely no access to any whatsoever as my dr. stopped ALL controlled substances (hence the reason Im tapering off xanax too now). I cut all connections long ago so theres no way i could get any if i tried but i hate that i hurt so much and hate that it makes me want to take some. Ive been gobbling up motrin 800 mgs around the clock and extra strength tyelonl too but it just doesnt do squat for this pain.  I sure hope this weather system moves out soon!! Anyone have a new spine they care to donate?? lol

Well I would love to donate a spine, but I dont believe that you would want mine! I agree with Sara - take a break and watch a movie or two. And way to go - I understand the weather and pain.

Am glad to hear you are feeling better.  It has been raining here for 3 days now and cold.  It can quit anytime!!!

Hi trouble.. so glad you are feeling better.. sleep does amazing things for us..  where do you live that it is pouring,, sorry the weather is not agreeing with you add that with stress Gosh I will be grateful when summer finds you :)
I remember when we first got the chiller and sci fi station omg I even watch it and bed and that is something I use to never do.. Oh wait hubby did not put a t.v. in our room till we got those stations lol Trip on girl I would be Janet lol hugs gentle ones lesa

thx you guys. and sarah, would you please stop trying to fatten me up??? LOL I just KNOW someday soon my metabolism will go on the fritz and Im going to explode into a huge blob! There's just no way i can keep eating the way I do and remain skinny forever! its gonna catch up with me one day and then you can have your field day, LOL

I also am now able to RECORD three's company on a new DVR here so Im in Tripper Heaven here, haha. Also got Lifetime TV back and the new channel too the Lifetime MOVIE channel, omg i love it, and the CHILLER station which is mostly scary horror movies and old reruns of shows like Twilight ZOne, Dead Zone, Dark Side, Tales From the CRypt and stuff like that which I LOVE! So at least i got some good tv to watch for distraction these days.  My back IS feeling abou 40% better today whih is odd since heavy steady rain is movign in. Maybe the steady stream of Motrin in my body is finally taking the inflammation down enough, who knows. Im just grateful as ever that Im not hurting as bad today. I also got a decent night of sleep (5+ hours!!!) so that always helps too!

Your stress is over the limit right now trouble......i am not saying your back isnt hurting but stress will make things hurt worse.  Take a warm bath or shower......

I am proud of you for cutting off all your contacts.  Turn on Jack Tripper and laugh for awhile......it will make you feel better.......sara

You have set yourself up to succeed by cutting off your supply. Good for you! I feel for ya...I started to hurt when rain was on the way too. Really does stink. I hope your son is getting better...stress makes everything worse. Hang in there.

I can't donate my spine, but if ya need blood or a clean urine sample, I am your man, lol. Sorry your in pain trouble, but I am happy to hear you don't have access to pills you know how quick we can fall back. I am not sure what to say about the back pain, if it becomes unbearable then see a dr. I had a lot of back pain for years from golf, but it is much better now. We are having all this rain too and I just got in from the golf course and my back is sore also, so lets whine together:) Hang in there trouble, hope the cravings and pain go away soon.
