Telling my Dr to cut me off Narcotics

Question

In four days I plan on telling my Doc about the Percs running my life. The physical ***** but, I want to have a clear head now. Only at 10 days today but, hoping for the strength. Here is my problem. My employer is self insured and I don't want to be labeled if you know what I mean. With that being said, all they have to do is look at the Percs that I fill every month with my insurance. Does anyone have ay experience with this? I hope that I can really do this and not chicken out and ask for a script refill. Mental in Tempe..........

I want to ask her if there is anything non narcotic to help treat the arthritis portion of my pain. Will see. Come on Thurs!

personaly I would just tell the doc that your sick of junking up your system ,and want off the meds. I've always had a hard time with getting a label from the doc, it brands you for life. I quess it would be a personal decision if you feel that's the only way you can stop with the pill's do it.

I totally understand your concerns my friend but trust me NOTHING is more important than your help like you I just had to stop caring about what other people thought about me and I had to focus on getting myself better.  You are the most important aspect in all this if people want to judge let them it's on thier sholders.  Everyone has skeletons in there closet but you are freeing yourself by being on here and posting.  Just tell your Dr NO MORE there are other ways to treat pain but in my experiance these pills are evil and do more harm than good.  We are all cheering you on you can do this stay strong do it for yourself.  Besides the Cards are 4-0 this year for the first time ever hahaaa that helps just a little bit hahaaa!!
