hi people my name is dan  im on my 3rd day withdrawing from subutex its my 3rd day im getting back and leg cramps and not much sleep :(  anyway was hopeing to talk to other people in same persision................

hi ya beach thanks for replying. was on subutex 4 just over 2 years i taperd down to 0.2mls and stoped them monday night and b4 that was on the gear for a year worts thing i did ever....im not doing to bad got bad mussle camps and no energy but not doing to bad at mo.... was u on the subs and can u give me any advise bout it i toke sum vallies last night 20mls and it really helped so maneged 2 get bout 5-6 hrs sleep last night. wat u think about takeing benzos on withdrawal cos dnt want swap 1 addited for a nother one.be niceto chat to sumone  who nows wat im going thow cos cnt talk to noone here.. wats ur horrer drug then and how u doing hope ur good....thanks and ur input would b great thanks....

congratulations for wanting to reclaim your life. you are on the road to recovery. dont look back. have you been in counseling and working a recovery program while on the subs? this is important to prevent relapse.
you can take hot baths with epsom salts and hot shower,,  magnesium & potassium supplements, eat bananas, also tonic water with quinine all good for the muscle cramps.
take mutli vitamins,eat healthy, exercise that will help greatly, walking,swimming, you have to push yourself. try natural supplements for relaxing and sleep. valerian root,passion flower,melatonin,sleepy time and chamomile tea. sleep does take awhile to return.
you have to be patient, all the toxins and poisons have to be cleansed out of your body this takes time. time to heal,body,soul,mind,emotion and your spirit.
no i am not an addict i am the wife of a recovering addict and just a concerned person who is saddened by the way drugs has ruined countless people and their families. i am here to try to help and encourage. there is hope to live a life free of drugs.
i will tell you that the LORD GOD is the miracle behind my husbands recovery and our familys healing. he was a heroin addict for 15 yrs. before i married him. he relapsed not with heroin but other opiates ,then was on methadone he had a 14 yr. long relapse it was hell. he went into a chrisitian drug and alcohol program at 56 yrs. old. he has now been clean for 17 months. we are healing day by day. GOD is good. i hope and pray that you stay on the road to recovery, it is a long and winding road, it is a marathon not a sprint. you cant ever let your guard down. you have to work your recovery your very life depends on it.
yes be very careful is the valium cross addiction is very common. try the natural route.

thanks for your encourement and advise im gone try that tomoz cos dnt want swap addictions..thats really good that your hubby done it after such a long time thats brill...yes i was on rehab all the time i was takeing subbys and think im gone go on a relapes prevension program i really appreciate your inpot and surport ill write on here 2moz and let now how getting on...( i now i can do it) best wishis..

hiya just a quick note to say how im doing. im on my 5th or 6th day and i ant feeling too bad with a bit of luck im over the worst ive stared taking multi vits vit c and vit b6/b12  i now i got a whille to go yet but fill things can only get betta and just take  a day at a time. hows things with u and ur hubby hope is all good and hope to here from you soon thanks for your surport it REALLY REALLY help thanks.

hiya yer im doing really goood tnks im on day 11 think... i still got no energy and getting mild withdrawals but my sleep is comeing bk now i get bout 5 hrs sleep a night i usely wake up bout 4am so things are looking up for me!!!! i feel so good take ive got away from the demon opiats... im gone start looking for work nxt week and start to build my life up again cant wait... thanks and hope to here from u soon your input really helps THANKS

Hi :)  atthebeach has given you very good advices and support and i wanted to add mine...you are doing great and it seems you are very determined to change your life, it ay take time but don't get discouraged... Ok, i say this and i admit that life is not easy and i get discouraged at times but any stuff that may happen while being clean is better and we are better at dealing with it than going back to our old ways... All the strength and the best, keep pushing yourself and good luck :)

hiya... i now its great cant belive it 3 weeks and going stong....most the withdrawals have gone now all thats left is that i get really nakerd really quick.. but started looking for work now so things are going really well thanks ill give u a update in few days THANKS for all your help.

Remember there is something called pink cloud, soon after detoxing we are feeling so good and proud of ourselves that we might think the work is done, don't please .... work on your recovery, learn about addiction and be proud of yourself too but don't let your guard down, ok ? :)
