What to do after pill and alcohol addiction?

I  have been drinking and taking pillz to keep my anxitey and depression under control.. since i want to stop all these things, is there any advice out there about what else there is to do to keep me from wanting these things so bad espicially the alcohol, which gets me into big trouble.. also i am unable to go out anywhere becuz of my agoraphobia, i am just stuck, anyways any advice on something else that will make life easier to live without these things?

Please listen to all the advice you have been given......the drugs and alcohol are only making this worse.  sara

you know doctors never look into a persons diet. but a poor diet and deficiencies can cause these feelings too. amino acids are great brain food. they help to repair what is off balance in our brains. you would be amazed how great it feels to be totally healthy everyday......and full of energy. it enables you to get involved with more worthwhile activities and hobbies.
when you have beat these habits of yours, it is going to give you great self asteem.
and if you can keep your head straight long enough, you may be able to get to the reasons you are feeling that way. sooner or later they have to be dealt with. they just do not go away- right?
pick the scarriest thing you can think of. and than all the other things are not as bad.

yes i agree with avisg about the fact that you need some outside help. Drugs only make problems worse so please find another way to deal with them!

you need recovery care aa,na or a therapist ,church pastor something .You are going to have to find away to get yourself something do you see a therapist for your agrorapobia ?
