Thanks everyone. The painful part is well..... my ahole :) I cant take anymore of the constant runs. I dont have the stomach pain anymore, which is good, but the bowel movements are awful. I think its still just WDs. its amazing the damage those little suckers do. I cannot believe Tramadol isnt a non-controlled substance.
I have been eating pretty healthy, I have always been a gym rat so I am conscious on what I eat. I will give it one more week before I admit to the doc what I have been doing (I was ordering them of the web).
Hey Sara, I have a big study load at the moment but trying to stop by every few days. Hope life is good for you.
There's madtram!! Thanks girl!! Hope you are doing well~~~sara
Are you saying you still have the runs or is it the opposite problem? If it's constipation, as feoh suggested, it's probably the immodium which acts to slow down the receptors in your gut.
There are also serotonin receptors in your gut which is why changing from a high dose of a serotonin agonist like tramadol will mess you up for a bit & unfortunately it seems common to have irritable bowel type symptoms for a while, however, if you are still having a serious case of the runs after two weeks it might be time for the doctor.
Aloe vera juice, (needs to be inner leaf gel) & peppermint oil capsules can both help with irritable bowel.
Best wishes.
The pepto and immodium could be making the situation worse - I for sure would stop the immodium...
Try to eat fruits and vegetables....and as Sarah said, your doctor should probably be called.
Best of luck to you and stay strong...you are doing great-
Peace
I would check with the doctor if this persists. Hopefully tramahater or madtram will be on at some point tonight and they will have some ideas for you on this.......until then just keep on truckin!! sara
