day 10 no vics, double digits

hello everyone, i am on day 10 from a 3 year run with vicodin, i feel better but still don't see the light at the end yet. my energy is down and bad muscle aches, but i will never take another pill again, just needed some support, thanks all

10 days good for you! The first couple of weeks were really bad for me too. I just didn't feel like doing anything. I took so many hot baths with epson salt & lavendar. Took ibuprophen for pain. And got some vitamin supplements from the "amino acid protocol" its listed here on this site. It will get better. Everyday it gets a little bit better. I promise you that. I'm 24 days off of mass amounts of vicodin daily. I mean a whole lotta pills everyday. Stay strong and stay in touch with us here on the site. NA meetings also have been a help to me. If nothing else to kill an hour of the day & take mind away from thoughts of pills. Good luck. You're doing so good

I'm on day 18 detox from two years of lortab.  It's been rough, but so worth it.

I totally admire you for being 10 days off of vicodin.  You should be really proud of yourself!!

Exercise is a great way to get your mind in a better place.  It sounds simple and is probably the last thing you feel like doing, but truly...just a few laps around the block can really clear your head and put you in a better mood.  

There are also vitamins and supplements you can take to boost your energy and overall well being.  Maybe go talk to someone at your local health food store for advice.
