Tramadol withdrawl before delivery of baby

How long before the delivery would a woman have to stop using Tramadol that it would not show up in the baby's system? And possibly reduce or eliminate the chance of the infant having withdrawal symptoms

How far along are you?  I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and have been on tramadol for a long time.  I'm weaning right now.  I know how incredibly hard it can be.  Please feel free to message me if you want to talk.

Aspasia I never took tramadol. I was addicted to hydro and oxy for 6+ years. I didn't think I could live a life without them. I'm sure you're affraid of the withdrawal and have told yourself all sort of reason why you can't stop now.   The fact is, you can.  There is alot of great help on this forum. You and your baby can have a bright future. Don't remaind a slave to the tram. It only gets worse if its anything like hydro .  I sure wish I could get the money from docs and buying drugs during the runout times I could buy .....  well you know   God  bless you and your little one.
