Weathering the storm

Good morning all,

I think I've weathered the first part of the storm.
Well, in my mind I made the switch from hours to days going cold turkey, (this is for posteman) from oxycodone and oxycontin. I'm now past hour 96. I'm actually at day 4.5. Most of the physical symtoms are gone. I'm probably at 80%. I'm still not sleeping very well. but the body aches and everything that goes with it for the most part have subsided. This is the first time I have really stuck to the Thomas Recipe and I have to say I'm a believer. If someone is worried about the physical part of it, this should help.
Now I have to look forward to the mental side of it. My cravings haven't been to bad, (yet?) People are right. I had a trigger last night and all of the sudden I had a craving. Luckily I was fairly busy and I didn't have time to dwell on it.

I think there are a lot of us that lurk on the fringes of the forum just reading questions and responses. I want to thank all of you that respond on a regular basis. It really helps me anyway, to be able to just read and see what everyone is commenting on.

Good luck to everyone fighting the battle.

UNG

Thanks for the support. I can't state enough how invaluable it is.
Luckily I have another busy day. At this stage, anything helps as long as I can keep my mind focused on something else.

The lurking one.
