Experience, Strength and Hope (repost sort of)

I have used most street drugs (meth coke etc) for 32 years. (Experience)
When I learned how to change the way I think (134 days ago) was the last day I used (Strength)
If an old boy like me who is damn near 50 y. o. can do it ANYONE CAN!  (hope)
Don't get me wrong it's the hardest thing you will ever do. It is however definitely do-able.
If you believe it you can achieve it. I found a lot af answers and insight andmotivation from a video called "The Secret" (very popular & widely available). I highly recommend it.
Its now 138 days. Still feelin good and positive, but most of all grateful for all that is good in my life.

Repost on my former post(sort of). You're still an inspiration to me. Any "old guy" who can get off that **** has got a lot goin' on! The old- time addicts around where I live will NEVER change their ways, I admire someone with courage to change in mid-life(re-post) not old-age !! LOL  =)  cat

Congratulations on 138 days!  Damn!  That's awesome.  I've lost track due to an absence from here to care for ill family members, but I think I'm around 2 1/2 months.

Great to hear encouragement.  We always need that.
