Karen, You made it!!! 30 days is huge and I'm so proud of you. I know you've been through hell to get it. You say this is the farthest you've ever gotten? Well my dear friend, you have the entire world right in front of you. It's yours for the taking. You got this far because this time you really truly wanted it, and you KNOW that you're worth it. You did it for you. You did everything you needed to do to make sure you would succeed in getting and staying clean this time. You made that commitment to yourself. Your future aftercare efforts will help you stay clean. All us addicts need to do is to list our recovery as the number one importance in our lives, put it at the very top of the list, and a clean life free from drugs is ours.

I feel the same exact way. I have made more amazing friendships on an addiction forum than I have in person!!!!  God bless u Karen!!!!!!  Big big hugs to u!!!!!  Happy mothers day too;)

You guys are just great! Love this site and all my friends and the good people on here! I've had more caring and real friendship in people on here than in real life!!I still admit these cravings kill me and my back pain is a day by day process...but WOW! This is farther than I have ever got!

Wow Star 30 days..It just seems like yesterday..I was thinking about you this morning and was going to PM you and ask how you are doing!! OK It looks good..Keep it up we know it is not easy sometimes..Maybe someday we will have the time behind us like some of these old timers on here and look back and say we are still making it happen!! SO happy for you Karen; I know it has been tough, but you did it!!!  A huge congratulations on 30 days!  Welcome to the "other side".  It is not always perfect here and you will need to stay strong and keep fighting, but it will get easier as time goes on.  If/when the cravings or doubt start to creep in, you just remember how hard you fought to get here.  You NEVER have to go back to the beginning again - NEVER.  I am so happy for you.....keep it up girl :))
